On Some Syntactic Peculiarities of the Armenian Translation of Faulkner’s Absalom, Absalom!

The grandiose novel of William Faulkner “Absalom!Absalom!” is a majestic example piece writing which encompasses diverse layers plots, social layers, and dramatic collisions, revealed through intricate linguistic apparatus, particularly very specific syntactic organization. paper an attempt to make close comparison the original Armenian texts novel, translated by Levon Mkrtchyan. analysis complexity its appropriate rendering into language has been conducted within framework three sets translation methods, elaborated J.P.Vinay’s J. Darbelnet M.Baker. results investigation manifest striking deviation from text on textual levels. Scrupulous quantitative qualitative data interpretation are provided in conclusion.
